Vircom unveils the latest chapter in email security – modus™ 4.6

Vircom, an award-winning e-mail messaging security software company, has released a new version of their acclaimed modus line of products. modusGate™ software, modusGate appliance, and modusMail™, are now available with new technology and enhanced features. Vircom ensures complete protection for its customers by staying ahead of the competition in the fight to combat the latest email threats, such as spambots, spoofing, image spam, increasingly sophisticated phishing attempts, and fast flux attacks.
At the core of the modus product line is the Sequential Content Analyzer (SCA™), a proprietary technology that allows Vircom to stay one step ahead of email threats, as well as the Open Source-based competition. In addition, Vircom has joined the short-list of vendors on the DKIM supporters list, and has added digital signing and authentication to further enhance the level of end-user protection. Other highlights include an advanced reporting interface, enhancements to logs and auditing for eDiscovery and compliance, as well as updates to their industry-unique Sieve scripting interface, which offers limitless rule-based filtering.
