Vircom announces certification of modusGate™ for Microsoft® Windows Server 2008 R2

Montreal, Canada, Sept. 7^th, 2011 – Vircom Inc., today announced the certification of modusGate™ 5.1 for Microsoft® Windows Server 2008 R2. The "Certified for Windows Server 2008 R2" designation proves that modusGate 5.1 is fully compatible with Windows Server 2008 R2 and complies with Microsoft’s high standards of recommended practices.

modusGate 5.1, to be released Sept. 16th, 2011, is Vircom’s latest version of its email security and anti-spam gateway software that provides protection for Exchange/SMTP email servers from viruses, phishing, malware and data leakage. Microsoft sets the bar high for a product to earn Windows Server 2008 R2 certification. In order to receive the coveted "Certified for Windows Server R2" designation, modusGate 5.1 had to pass a series of extensive tests to prove its stability, security, reliability, availability, and platform compatibility with Windows Server 2008 R2.
