Sylvain Durocher

President – Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Sylvain remains actively involved in the growth of the company he founded almost 15 years ago: guiding the Vircom leadership team, creating a vision and strategy for the future, meeting with partners and important clients, and troubleshooting organizational growth. Inspired by learning and technology, Sylvain’s objective is to offer our clients ever-improving solutions, all the while nurturing a positive work environment where employees can achieve their full potential.

When not engaged in the good fight to protect your email communications, this lover of the great outdoors likes to travel, ski, dance the Rueda, white water kayak, cooking and play board games with friends.

Mike Petsalis

Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Mike serves Vircom as the Chief Operating Officer responsible for production and overall management of day-to-day operations, business growth and profitability.
He is instrumental in building and maintaining top-notch, innovative and creative teams that work to the highest standard, ensuring Vircom’s continued success. As a trained and skilled engineer with a natural aptitude for numbers, Mike uses key performance indicators and numerous metrics to ensure results are not only met but measurable. As a former head of R&D, Mike enjoys engaging with the engineering team, discussing high-level product roadmap down to technical implementation details for continued product and deployment improvement. Equipped with a solid understanding of both business and technical issues, Mike drives the overall company strategy towards global reach, delivering excellent customer service and superior technology.

We wish Mike much luck in his goal to learn seven languages before the age of 45, not counting programming languages.

Patrick Thibault

Director, Customer Service

A key resource-person in Vircom’s operations, decision-making, and planning strategies, Patrick has a talent for bringing together multi-disciplinary teams that produce results. This natural-born leader and innovator is most valued for his mentorship skills, and for his ability to get others actively involved in projects big and small.

It’s quite obvious that Patrick loves his job: when asked about his eventual plans for retirement, he joyfully replies, “What retirement?”

Brad Wolf

Directeur, Finance

After qualifying in 1995 as a Chartered Accountant, Brad has enjoyed a successful career in finance with several start-up and publically traded software companies across Canada and the United States.  His experience in the high-tech industry has proven to be an invaluable asset to the rest of the management team, as have his multi-tasking abilities in managing the Finance, Administration and Human Resource Departments at Vircom.

Brad has a passion for running marathons, which he has taken to the next level: now an ultra-marathon enthusiast, Brad runs several of these events a year worldwide.
